Car Covers
Your Coverking
Custom
Car Cover will need to be cleaned periodically to maintain
its protective abilities and good looks. Dirt and dust on either
side of the cover can degrade its performance to repel moisture.
On the underside of the cover, over time, this dust acts as
an abrasive that can scratch the vehicles surface. All Coverking
Custom and Universal Car Covers are made with fabrics that are
inherently easy to keep clean.
DO NOT use an automatic washing machine with your Coverking
Car Cover. DO NOT use any type of bleach.
Method For
Cleaning Entire Cover: DO NOT wash your cover or vehicle
in direct sunlight. To clean dust and dirt form the top of the
cover, install the cover on your vehicle. Hose off the loose
dirt, then wash the cover as you would the actual vehicle, using
a soft sponge or cloth in water with a mild, bio-degradable
cleaner. Hose down the cover again with water and hang dry.
DO NOT wring cover. DO NOT store cover while it is still damp.
To clean dust and dirt from the underside of the cover, reverse
the cover and place it on the vehicle and hose off the loose
dust. If necessary, wash it further with a soft sponge or cloth
soaked in water with a mild, bio-degradable cleaner. Hose down
the cover again with water and hang to air dry.Again, DO NOT
wring cover. To Spot Clean: To get the best results when cleaning
your Coverking Car Cover will be obtained in temperatures of
68-85 degrees Fahrenheit. Please use a non-toxic, liquid, bio-degradable
cleaner and clean soft cloth or sponge. Wipe the car cover area
to be cleaned with a water-soaked, clean soft cloth or sponge.
Either spray or immerse the soiled area of the car cover in
the your cleaner mixture. Work into the fabric with another
clean, soft cloth or sponge until the soiled area is gone. DO
NOT wring cover. Dry the cleaned area with a dry, soft clean
cloth and allow to air dry. DO NOT store cover while it is still

vacuum cleaner to remove as much loose dirt and contaminates
from cover. Then, wipe the area to be cleaned with a water-soaked,
clean, soft cloth or sponge. Spot spray the soiled area of the
seat cover with the proper cleaner (noted above). Gently rub
the area with another clean, soft cloth or sponge until the
soiled area has released the soil/contaminates. Dry the cleaned
area with a soft, dry, clean cloth and allow to air dry. You
can speed up the drying process with an air blower or hair dryer
set on cool only.
To Clean Entire Seat Cover:
Obtain a non-toxic liquid or powder fabric cleaner
recommended for laundering a variety of fabrics. Following the
mixing instructions on the cleaners package, prepare a container
suitable for soaking (sink, basin, etc.) and fill with cold
or warm water (not to exceed 85 degrees Fahrenheit). Soak the
Neoprene Seat Cover in this mixture for a period of five (5)
minutes to loosen the embedded dust and dirt particles. After
soaking for five minutes, wash the Neoprene Seat Cover thoroughly
with a gentle agitation for another five minutes. Finally, rinse
the cover in cold water for five minutes and flat dry against
an absorbent dry cloth, to soak up any excess water. DO NOT
